DETENHAMOS A OFENSIVA DE RECOLONIZAÇÃO CONSERVADORA

Os povos de nossa América sofrem a ofensiva de recolonização conservadora por parte do imperialismo e das oligarquias locais. Pretende-se varrer todas as conquistas dos processos progressistas regionais no campo da justiça social, a soberania, a integração e a gestação de um autêntico poder popular.

Nesse contexto, a Venezuela é um alvo principal, tanto pelas suas enormes riquezas quanto pela ameaça que representa seu exemplo de esperança.

We, the participants at the XII Encounter of the Network of Intellectuals, Artists and Social Movements “In Defense of Humanity”, have come to Caracas at this crucial moment to attest to our unconditional solidarity with the Bolivarian government and the people in their battle against the attacks of the local oligarchy and the Empire.

The peoples of our America are suffering the offensive of conservative re-colonization launched by imperialism and local oligarchies.  They would like to sweep away all the conquests of the regional progressive processes in the field of social justice, sovereignty, integration and the birth of authentic peoples’ power.
