Algunos medios habían especulado  sobre la posibilidad de que  en el marco de la Cumbre de las Américas las delegaciones de Cuba y Estados Unidos  se encontraran.

Según confirma en su cuenta de  twitter  el Director General de Prensa Comunicación e Imagen del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Alejandro  González Galiano, el canciller cubano Bruno Rodríguez  Parrilla sostuvo un encuentro en la noche de hoy 9 de abril, con el Secretario de Estado estadounidense John Kerry.

PANAMA, 10 de abril de 2015.- Unos 300 representantes de las culturas originarias acampan desde este 9 de abril en el gimnasio de la vicerrectoría para asuntos estudiantiles de la Universidad de Panamá para participar de la Cumbre de los Pueblos, especialmente del encuentro con el presidente boliviano que finalmente ha tenido lugar este viernes.

Various social organizations joined our continent this Thursday in supporting Cuba’s position in the workshops of the Summit of the Americas’ Civil Society Forum and demanded the expulsion of the group of mercenaries who have been accredited to participate in the event.

Edgardo Voitier, of the Panamanian Frente Amplio por Colón (Broad Front of Colon), read a statement on behalf of Panamanian civil society organizations criticizing the presence of people who “do not believe in prosperity or peace and do not come to contribute, but to provoke.”
